Background information:
Shelters come in many sizes and types. The shelters at Dutch railway platforms are mainly black, but dark red and dark blue are also common colors at bus and tram stops. Shelters at railway platforms often have red handrails, while bus and tram stops usually don't.
This narrow Markenburg shelter is handy in situations where space is limited, like small platforms or busy streets with narrow sidewalks.
Architectural details:
This shelter comes with standard panel sizes, three panels wide and with a billboard in the left hand facade. Any kind of billboard posters can be used. Dimensions of a billboard poster in 1:160 are 8 x 11 mm. At 1:87 they are 14.5 x 20 mm.
The smooth concrete floor and optional lean bars are also included with the Markenburg model. This model is also fitted with a square shaped panel for travel information.
Note: Precision and experience are necessary for the assembly of this model. This is in particular applicable for the scale 1:160.
