Background information:
Tree planters are a regular occurrence, especially in the village or town. Often tree planters offer a nice solution for placing non winter hardy trees. Tree planters also offer a good solution in locations where many cables and pipes are in the ground, but where nevertheless a form of green in the street is desired.
In recent decades, tree planters are also increasingly used in redevelopment plans because the perception of the public space is increasingly important. Regular planting of trees is more complicated for the above reasons.
Architectural details:
The concrete tree planter is mainly focused on functionality. Although the tree wreath at the top is a graceful detail. The lining which is in the concrete is also provided for aesthetic reasons.
If the tree tub is placed with the aim to move when winter comes, the tree planter often is placed on wooden blocks or bars so that the forks of a forklift can be placed underneath.
