Departure tables columns are common on large Dutch train stations. Usually they are at, or near, the platforms.
When making model departure tables, various real departure tables are actually used to only scale down, for the most realistic picture.
Architectural details:
Standard departure tables columns to Dutch example. The posters have a distinctive warm yellow background color in combination with blue letters. Furthermore, departure table boards always consists of a black frame and a blue poster frame. In some cases the departure tables are alternated with advertising posters.
Billboard posters can be hung at your discretion. Dimensions of a billboard poster in 1:160 are 8 x 11 mm. At 1:87, they are 14.5 x 20 mm.
