At the time of writing this introduction, the year is only one day old. But given the positive responses to last year's news list, we think we might as well start this year off right.
Just like last year, we'll be compiling this year's list below. Since we frequently publish news, the list will also be updated frequently. Sometimes these will be buildings and objects specifically developed in one scale. With other products, we see that they were already available in the scales 1:160 and 1:87, but are now also being developed in the scale 1:220 (Z). And in most cases, these are new products that can be ordered immediately in the scales 1:160 and 1:87. We've now well past 600 objects and buildings, and that doesn't even include all the color, scale, and other variations on those products. But we're far from finished developing. With this list, we're trying to provide some additional clarity.

Starting today, we at Markenburg also have sidewalk tiles in “bicycle path pink”.
Given the timing, that might sound like an April Fool's joke. But give it a try! And expect with peace of mind that you will receive exactly what you ordered.
A brief explanation as to why now.
Introducing a new color is not a matter of pressing a few buttons. The material is manufactured in a specialized factory that only creates a color bath for very large quantities. At Markenburg, we like to think ahead and want to be able to offer our products for years to come. But that wish requires more than just creating a color bath once. After thorough consultation, collaboration, making agreements, and a lot of hard work, we can actually make it happen starting today! Sidewalk tiles in bicycle path pink.
And we’ll just accept the timing of the initial offering as part of the deal.
